Charles Cook, Jr. I don't know why you don't have a memorial already, I know how much you were loved, so if it didn't happen I know it was beyond their control, or it just hurt to much to remember. I have never forgotten you, and I was blessed to hear from someone who saw you on your last day. I was happy to know that he cared about you - he misses you and thinks about you often. He said he will always remember you. Jim Jones died shortly after you so I know you are together again. If I look up I can see you in the sky as well as the other loved ones that have gone before me. I will also always remember you. Rest in peace. I salute you, my hero and my friend. Love always,

In the brief two months we spent together in Vietnam, I got to know you and Hugo Castaneda well. We laughed, fought, talked and ate together. Although it has been over thirty years since you and Hugo died on July 9, 1968, I still remember both of you fondly. May you always we remembered in the heart of those who knew and loved you.

Thank you, Charles, for being there with my brother Hugo. I am so glad that my brother did not die alone. You will always be remembered in my prayers. I salute you, my hero.
